- Fully Associative with Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge and SolidWorks. Full associativity between CAD and analysis allows seamless integration of your CAD models with COSMOSDesignSTAR without having to reimport the data with each design modification.
- Multi-CAD Analysis. Compatible with most popular CAD programs, COSMOSDesignSTAR can read CATIA and Pro/Engineer model files directly, as well as IGES files for both parts and assemblies. Based on the Parasolid modeling kernel, COSMOSDesignSTAR also supports ACIS and STEP AP203 standards.

- Drop Test Simulation. Simulate virtual drop tests on a variety of flooring surfaces. In the event that your part or assembly might be dropped, find out whether or not it can survive the fall impact.
